When furniture cannot safely fit through a doorway, hallway or staircase, Payless Moving Inc. may be able to move it through a window, balcony or other exterior opening. We provide furniture-hoisting services for select residential and commercial moves throughout South Jersey.
Hoisting may be appropriate for sofas, tables, bed frames and other large furniture that cannot be moved through the building’s normal access points.
Every hoisting job must be evaluated in advance. We review the item’s size and weight, the height and location of the opening, available access, overhead hazards and the surrounding property. We will also determine whether disassembling the item is a safer option.
Hoisting is only performed when our team determines that it can be completed safely, and building or property approval may be required. Send photos and measurements of the item, entrance, staircase and proposed opening to request an evaluation and estimate.
